• Not really! Acupuncture needles are super fine, so most people barely feel them. You might feel a little tingle, heaviness or dull sensation at some points, but most people actually find their treatment really relaxing.

  • We’ll start with a chat about what’s been going on, your health history and what you’d like help with. From there, I’ll create a treatment that’s personalised to you — because no two bodies (or people!) are the same.

  • Everyone is different, so there’s no magic number. It depends on what we’re treating, how long it’s been going on and how your body responds. We’ll talk about this at your first appointment and come up with a plan that feels right for you.

  • Come comfy! Loose clothing is always best and makes it easier to access acupuncture points. If we need to treat an area covered by clothing, appropriate draping will always be provided.

  • Yes please! Try to have something to eat within a few hours before your appointment and make sure you’re hydrated. Coming in on a completely empty stomach isn’t ideal.

  • Yes. Pregnancy acupuncture is tailored to you and where you’re at in your pregnancy. We can support you through things like nausea and morning sickness, aches and discomfort, general pregnancy wellbeing, breech presentation and preparing your body for birth.

  • Yes! Fertility acupuncture can be used while trying to conceive naturally or alongside fertility treatments such as IVF or IUI. Your treatment is personalised around your cycle, your health and where you’re at in your fertility journey.

  • We do! Our cosmetic treatments include facial acupuncture, facial cupping, gua sha and microneedling. Treatments can be tailored around concerns such as fine lines, ageing skin, skin texture, radiance and overall skin health.

  • Yes. We offer scar treatments for C-section scars, surgical scars, injury scars and acne scarring. Every scar is different, so we’ll have a look first and work out the best treatment approach for you.

  • Yes! Divine Wellness is an ACC treatment provider. If you have an eligible injury or an existing ACC claim, get in touch and we can help you work out what you need before booking.

  • Don’t stress! Just send us a message and tell us a little bit about what you’d like help with. We’ll point you in the right direction and help you choose the most suitable appointment.

  • Life happens, we totally understand! If you need to change or cancel your appointment, we just ask for at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations within 24 hours will incur a 50% fee, and no-shows will be charged the full appointment fee. Thank you for respecting our time and our little business.
